Steps
- 1Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- 2Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and flatten each into a small disc.
- 3Place a mozzarella cube in the center of each disc, then pull the edges up and pinch to seal into a ball, seam-side down.
- 4Arrange the balls on the baking sheet, spaced apart, and bake 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- 5While baking, mix melted butter with garlic and parsley.
- 6As soon as the knots come out of the oven, brush generously with the garlic butter and sprinkle with parmesan.
- 7Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
Tips
- Pinch the dough seams tightly, or the cheese will leak out during baking.
- Let the knots cool 2 minutes before biting — the cheese center stays very hot.
